Lisa FurulandDirector • Localisation ExpertLisa knows the localisation industry inside out. In between studying French, Italian and Latin at college, art history at Stockholm University, professional photography and architecture at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, in 1991 Lisa set out to master the art of subtitling. This she pursued as a freelancer alongside her academic efforts until 1995, when Lisa took a leap to become the cofounder of Broadcast Text. More than a decade of great achievements followed; as MD, Lisa developed successful operations procedures, subtitler training courses and quality control schemes. She headed up administration system development as well as the company's PR and marketing. In addition, her sales efforts in a highly competitive international market proved very successful. In 2006, together with Costa, Lisa founded Hippeis Media, a company which represents a new take on localisation services in general and dubbing in particular. 'With all great team members, experiencewise unsurpassed, we truly are the dream team of dubbing and subtitling. I am proud to be part of this."
